Trueblue Texan
Trueblue Texan's JournalI'm getting really tired of the media claiming that TFG will never spend a day in jail, even if he is convicted.
I don't buy this. If we can send a person to the moon, keep people in outer space or under the ocean, in the arctic for months or years at a time, we can put a damn president in prison and provide the security required. We can build a damn prison just for him. No one is above the law!
I thought Pete Buttigieg was great...
...but that was before I listened to his husband, Chasten Buttigieg. He was on Nicole this afternoon and his presence and message was so powerful and moving, I was deeply touched. His book, I Have Something to Tell You, is on sale now at Amazon. I am so deeply impressed by this man and his commitment to humanity. I can't wait to start reading his book.
I forgot to brag the other night...
...that I got tickets to see Rachel Maddow in Houston in June!!!!!
I think someone with photo editing talents should post the EXACT same image of Trump...
...as he posted about Biden, give it a thumb's up and see how long it takes to get arrested.
I called it first! Do you think TFG actually took my advice?

Why is Ari Melber doing all these music interviews?
I guess I'm just an old political junkie...but MSNBC in the late afternoon/evening is where political junkies go for their daily fix. If we want to be entertained with musicians we'll turn on YouTube or MTV. I've gotten to be pretty annoyed with his political coverage as well.
I have a question about TFG's immunity case at SCOTUS...
Let's say SCOTUS doesn't deliver their ruling until right before or shortly after the election and the trial can go forward. Even if Trump wins the election, he wouldn't be inaugurated until Jan 20, 2025. Could TFG be tried in the interim period between the election and inauguration if things move rapidly through the courts? What would happen then, if he were to be convicted?
Lisa Rubin on MSNBC...
On Deadline: Whitehouse, Rubin acts as though she's been threatened by TFG's supporters. She starts parroting the lame fear that maybe SCOTUS should rule in TFG's favor in the immunity trial because what if one of the meanies in a later administration decide to prosecute Joe Biden. Oh MY! It's almost as if she's forgotten the consequences if TFG is NOT held accountable; that she's perhaps forgotten the role of a grand jury in indicting TFG; or that she's forgotten that an actual crime must be committed and that evidence is required to try and convict and finally, perhaps she's forgotten that Joe Biden would prefer the state to prove its case instead of using a strategy of delay, delay, delay to avoid justice that has resulted in exorbitant legal fees in the case of TFG.
This is unlike Rubin, and I wonder what's has happened that she should parrot such utter bullshit.
Lunch today...
Warm flour tortilla spread with red pepper hummus, filled with salad greens, shaved carrots, chopped broccoli and tomatoes. Delish!
